Martin Simpson plays at St David’s Hall
Martin played an incredible gig at St Davids hall last night. His playing was astounding with deeply moving lyrics.
He played “Never any Good” last night and this was recorded in Australia a while back.
Indulging in Walnut
This walnut has been a joy to use in the making of this Torres Style concert guitar. It has warmth and good compatibility with the Swiss spruce soundboard and produces rich and sonorous low registers with bright and controlled upper registers. The finish is French Polish which I think compliments the beauty of the wood and allows real freedom of tone.

Lacewood Concert Ukulele
Lacewood is a particularly attractive wood having complicated grain patterns and colour.
The making of this ukulele gave me the opportunity to have fun and explore the rich variety of woods available from my workshop.
